Position: Controller/Finance Manager
Location: Tampa
Pay: $130,000-$150,000
Our client, a growing organization in the property management sector, is seeking an experienced Finance Leader to oversee all financial operations and guide strategic financial decision-making. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a desire to grow (future CFOs apply here!).
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the organization's financial functions, including annual budgeting, long-range forecasting, financial planning, cash management, and tax-related activities.
- Analyze financial performance and trends to inform strategy, identify improvements, and support business decision-making.
- Implement and uphold effective internal controls and financial procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and readiness for regulatory or lending reviews.
- Serve as the primary liaison with banks, lenders, and other financial partners.
- Partner with organizational leaders to ensure financial strategies effectively support operational and growth objectives.
- Guide and develop the accounting team, fostering strong performance, accountability, and professional growth.
- Provide financial oversight for real estate initiatives, including acquisitions, expansions, and asset management projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- CPA Preferred
- Minimum 5 years of financial leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and internal controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership capabilities and team management experience.
